What are service costs?

The service costs consist of the fees for additional supplies and services. These include, for example, the heating costs (heat and/or gas), the supply of electricity and water, the cleaning of common areas and, if applicable, the fee for upholstery and/or furnishing) etc.

As a tenant, you pay a monthly advance for the service costs. We will send you an annual overview of the actual costs. We will also show you what the cost allocation keys are (how the costs are divided among the tenants). If there is an individual meter, we will also provide insight into the meter readings and consumption. All this together is called the service costs statement.

When do I receive the service costs settlement?

Every year, you will receive an overview of the actual costs of the past calendar year and we will settle the advances already paid. If the actual costs are lower than the advance payment, you will receive a refund. If the actual costs are higher than the advance payment, you will have to pay extra.

How do I receive my service costs settlement?

When the service costs settlement is ready, you will receive an e-mail notification. Your personal settlement is then ready in your My Plaza app.

My advance service costs will be changed?

After issuing the annual settlement of service costs, we may adjust the advance payment amounts. Should this be the case for you, you will automatically be notified by e-mail.

I moved out (last year), will I also receive a service costs statement?

Yes, you will receive a service costs settlement for the period you rented from us.
