Terminate contract

You can easily terminate your contract through your personal page or the My Plaza app. This way you can be sure that you terminate your contract in the right way.

At least 1 month in advance

Please note that our agreement can be cancelled a minimum of 1 month and a maximum of 3 months before the end date of the contract. You can cancel on any day of the month.

Do you want to cancel earlier than your contract allows? You can, but we will be forced to charge a €250 penalty. 

If you rent at Limapad through the Utrecht University Reserved Accommodation Programme, you have committed yourself to a specific rental period with a fixed end date.
Do you want to cancel earlier? Then we kindly ask you on behalf of the university to nominate a candidate for your accommodation.

Final inspection

At the final inspection, we check that the property has been handed over as agreed.

Return keys

You return the keys on the date and in the manner agreed with our staff. Where and when you hand in the keys is stated in the letter of confirmation of your cancellation.

Final invoice

You will receive a departure note from us containing the final invoice. Outstanding amounts are always settled with the final invoice. The latter applies to any costs if the space is not left as agreed.

Deposit

We will refund the deposit you paid at the beginning of your contract within two weeks. 

Please note!

  • You are not allowed to set off the deposit yourself against any outstanding amounts.
  • In order to refund the deposit, it is important that we know your bank account number. You can share or change this via your payment details.

Service costs settlement

Every year, no later than the end of July, you will receive an overview of the actual service costs of the past calendar year and we will settle the advances already paid. The same applies after you have moved out. During the next settlement of service costs, you will receive your final settlement of service costs for the period of the year you rented from us.
